The bath bomb kit includes most of the supplies you need for this project. You will need to have a few basic items from home to complete this project. Please review the lists below:
Kit Includes
- Instruction sheet
- Bath Bomb Mix – Enough to make 3 items.
- 1 bath bomb mold
- 1 oz of fragrance oil
- 3 1g jars of mica powder
- 3 micro scoops
- 3 mixing cups for mica
- Spray bottle
- Plastic pipette
- Paint brush
- Nitrile gloves
- Face mask
Supplies You Need from Home
- Liquid binding agent*
- Medium to Large mixing bowl
A binding agent is a liquid that you use to hold the dry ingredients together. Kit instructions provide a detailed explanation of liquid binding agents you can use. We recommend witch hazel, which is available at most drug stores.
Optional Supplies (Not Included)
- Approx 2 ml of Sweet Almond Oil, Coconut Oil, or Apricot Kernel Oil
- 1-2 ml of Polysorbate 80 (recommended if using a lot of mica powder)
Oils such as these are used to provide more skin hydration when the bath bomb is used. Oils can also make the bath bomb mixture easier to mold/unmold. It is up to you if you want to use these ingredients.
Polysorbate 80 is an emulsifier that helps oils mix with water. It also helps disperse colors in bath water. If you are using a lot of mica powder, we recommend using polysorbate 80 to prevent staining to your tub.

Note: If you already have some of our fragrance oils, you can use these instead of the one that comes with the kit. Please use only skin-safe fragrance oils. Check the IFRA information available on our product pages to see if a fragrance is skin-safe.
