Hibiscus Flowers – Dried Botanicals for Crafting
Cut Hibiscus Flower Petals – Best Botanicals for Soap and Bath Bombs
Our hibiscus petals are a beautiful deep red color with a fresh & tart floral scent. Hibiscus is a great additive for soap and body products, as well as bath tea. Hibiscus petals are high in antioxidants, and contain Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs), which can help exfoliate skin.
Please note that dried hibiscus petals can have a sharp texture, meaning you may want to crush/grind them before adding to soap and other products that are applied directly to the skin. Petals do not need to be ground before adding to products that are used in water such as bath tea, bath salts or bath bombs. Hibiscus petals will soften once they absorb liquid.
Please allow 10 business days of processing time for orders of 5 lbs or more.
Common Uses:
- Grind hibiscus petals to create a natural red/pink pigment.
- Create a floral bath tub soak or press the petals into your bath bomb mixture for a floral bath bomb.Â
- Mix with Everyday Bath Tea blend to enhance your bath tea.
- Use as a botanical additive in soap and skin products.
- Make your own scented potpourri.
Note: Hibiscus may cause soap to turn gray/brown due to the acidity. Test a small batch to gauge your results.
