Common Uses:
Un-Scented Reed Diffuser Base is used for home fragrance applications. Works great with our fiber reeds and reed diffuser containers. Also suitable for making refills for plug-in air fresheners.
Product Information:
- Non-toxic and DPG-free reed diffuser base.
- Our Reed Diffuser Base is made primarily from glycerin, a renewable resource that is a natural byproduct of soy-based biodiesel production.
- Made from 70% renewable resources with a 40% lower carbon footprint than glycol ethers such as DPG, DPM, and DPMA.
- Low evaporation rate extends the life of your reed diffusers, making them smell great for up to 1 year (depending on fragrance used).
- Very low natural odor allows you to use any fragrance oils you like.
- Compatible with any of our fragrance oils!
- Classified as a low vapor pressure (LVP) VOC material.

Professional quality reed diffuser base. Perfectly disperses fragrance using our fiber reeds.
DIRECTIONS: Mix our reed diffuser base with your desired fragrance oil* then add to a glass diffuser bottle. Insert reed diffuser sticks and wait for the fragrance to absorb into the sticks. You will begin to notice the scent right away, and it will intensify as the fragrance reaches the ends of the sticks.
* Please refer to the fragrance oil’s IFRA certificate for maximum usage amounts. Reed diffusers are found in Category 10A. Learn more about using IFRA certificates here.
Our Reed Diffuser Base can hold up to 50% fragrance without separating. Please note that 50% fragrance will smell very strong, and it is not necessary to use this much fragrance. We recommend starting with 10-25% fragrance or the max allowed by the IFRA.
TIPS:Â Use with our fiber reed diffuser sticks for best results. No flipping required!
STORAGE:Â Store in an airtight container away from light. When stored properly, best used within 1 year from date of purchase.
